- Frequently asked questions -

FAQ's below only pertain to the bullpup stocks and this page is in a constant process of being updated.

What is the overall weight of this setup?  -  With the Ruger receiver, trigger group and factory contour 18.5" barrel installed, the overall weight of the base model is 7 lbs even.  This does not include any optics or other accessories.

How long is this setup?  -  With the factory contour 18.5" barrel installed the overall length is 27.25".

Will it still be legal with a 16" barrel?  -  If you are going to be using a 16" barrel then you will need to purchase the optional butt pad spacer which will give you an overall length of 26.1".

Do you make a bullpup stock for any other rifle platform?  -  I am currently developing a similar design for several other rifle platforms.  They will be added to the website as soon as they are available.

Can I free float my barrel with this stock?  -  Yes, you can.  There are innerchangeable barrel blocks at the front of the stock that hold the barrel snug, similar to how the factory barrel band works.  If you want to free float your barrel, simply remove the blocks.  The space that the blocks bolt into is 1" wide so your barrel will have to be smaller than that to work but most are .920" or smaller.

My barrel is not a factory tapered contour or .920" dia.  Will it work with this stock?  -  Yes, I can make blocks for you that will fit your barrel if you send me the dia of your barrel to the nearest thousandth of an inch (0.001"), as long as your barrel diameter is not more than 1.000".  You can measure this with dial calipers or a micrometer, whichever is available to you.

Can I use a Tactical Solutions SBX Barrel with this setup?  -  Yes!  I now have a model that is compatible with the Tactical Solutions SBX barrel with an integrated barrel shroud.  It will also still work with other barrel models if you like the shorter version, however, it does not have a lower rail included as there is less room in front of the trigger guard.  As this option is not yet in my online store, please contact me for pricing.

Do you make a shell deflector for left handed shooters?  -  At this time, no I do not.  I did some testing and with my own personal setup, which has an extended charging handle, I found that the shells actually hit the extended handle most of the time and were projected forward.  If you are a left handed shooter I would, however, suggest that you order the butt pad spacer to get your face that much farther away from the charging handle, as it does move back and forth each time you shoot.  It would not be comfortable if it hit you in the nose.

What type of trigger linkage do you use?  -  I employ a dual bar linkage setup made from machined aluminum which has an adjustment screw where it contacts your Ruger trigger.  The dual bar system eliminates any unbalanced side pressure and making it from machined aluminum ensures that there is no flex whatsoever.  There is an adjustment screw to remove any creep or take-up between the linkage and your factory or aftermarket trigger, resulting in a clean and crisp trigger pull that ads minimal pull weight to your original setup.

How much pull weight does the trigger linkage add to my Ruger trigger?  -  I have not personally tested this but I did get a review from a customer that tested with his pull gauge.  He indicated to me that my trigger linkage only added 10.7 oz. to the pull weight of his original Ruger trigger!

What is your return policy?  -  This is a custom shop, not a retail store.  All sales are final.  Purchasing of this product constitutes an agreement between the manufacturer and the purchaser to build, per the specification of the purchaser a machined aluminum, bullpup stock for the Ruger 10/22 rifle platform.

The stocks are built on a case-by-case basis as a "Custom Build".  All sales are final and there are no returns or refunds.

Due to the popularity of this product and the manufacturing limitations of the manufacturer there is a lengthy manufacturing time period.  While the length of the manufacturing process may be estimated to the purchaser, no hard date is given as each build is custom and certain delays come up that are unforeseeable and unavoidable, causing the actual wait time to vary.

It is my goal and policy to build and ship a high quality product to the purchaser.  If, when received, there is a manufacturing defect I will always do my best to resolve the problem.  I have always been extremely fair and always do my best to work with my reasonable customers.  I strive for positive feedback, harmonious business dealings and even some friendships.  I will make every attempt possible to resolve an issue if I made a mistake (it happens).  Please do not assume a mistake is intentional.

If for some reason a part or accessory is ordered and is not included when shipped, the purchaser must notify me within 7 days of receipt of the product and a part will be shipped to fulfill the original order, no questions asked (again, honest mistakes happens from time to time).

Receipt of payment constitutes a contract between me, the manufacturer, and the customer.  Once payment has been made the product will be shipped when finished.  It is clearly posted that there is a minimum of a year wait for the manufacturing of a stock.
